The people of Northern Ireland voted in a second Assembly election in two years in March, and are set to vote again in the 2017 UK general election called by Prime Minister Theresa May. This election is scheduled for 8 June.
South of the border, the Government is proposing a referendum on allowing Irish citizens living abroad to vote in presidential elections, though no date has been set for this yet.

Presidential Election: Unless Michael D. Higgins is unopposed running for a second term, there will be a presidential election in November of this year.

Local and European Elections: Scheduled for June 2019.

Irish General Election: Voters in the south will choose their representatives in Dáil Éireann.
